| Bosch Super Plus Spark Plugs |
These Bosch Super Plus are the plugs i'm putting into my newly rebuilt m10 engine...i understand that bigger the gap, the harder the ignition system has to work which is also why i've installed an electronic distributor...Stock spark plugs are believed to be .024" - .028"...I'd probably say .035"..i understand from reading on the BF that this is an understood mistake in the Hayne's maintenance manual for e21's...apparently, the word is they run like crap with the spark plug .024 to .028 gap...stock spark plugs are recommended to be .035. which increases the horsepower by about 10hp...some suggest the e21 use up to .045....with electronic ignition systems...
